Make Millions On The Internet!

I have a new mission in life. It is to debunk and defame the so-called Internet marketing “gurus” who sell these overpriced “proven systems” to make people rich. This is a scam that preys on people’s desperation. It makes me mad because people like me who know how to make money on the Internet and can afford to waste money don’t fall for it. The people who fall for it are the people who can least afford it and who are least likely to succeed as Internet publishers.

That is a very important distinction — “making money on the Internet” is about joining the massive and growing Internet publishing business. When people ask me what I do, I tell them I am an Internet publisher, not that I run several blogs, a couple of which are pretty popular. Even if you’re planning your own online store, you are still a publisher at root, writing copy and finding an attractive way to present information to an audience.

If you can’t think like a publisher, you can’t make money on the Internet. Well, you can’t make real money. You might be able to squeeze out a few dollars a day as an affiliate marketer or AdSense blogger, but you will never make the millions that you want. To do that, you have to approach it as a business and realize that getting from Point A to Point B takes time. If you’re not willing to devote years to your projects with little return before the payoff, you will not succeed in this business.

Now let me tell you in one sentence the “proven system” that the “gurus” are all selling: Drive enough traffic to a web page, and you will be able to make money. It’s that simple. If 10,000 people a day visit your site, you will make a good living. If 100,000 people a day visit, you will be pretty rich. If 100 people a day visit, you can make a small second income if you’re very clever. Chances are, it will take months for you to get to 100 visitors a day, years to get to 1,000 a day, and you will never get to 10,000 a day. That’s reality. Never listen to people who sell fantasy, and easy money is always a fantasy.

I hope you approach it as the serious business that it is and work hard. If you do, you could make millions!
